Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

Nintendo STEALS Money!Since this has been going around lately, I should probably give my two cents. Basically what it amounts to is that Nintendo has filed Content ID info of their games with YouTube. What this means is that if you upload gameplay video of a Nintendo game, YouTube will automatically monetize that video, put ads on it, a link to where to buy the game, and take the money generated from that video and give it directly to Nintendo. People who do "let's play" videos are, naturally, pissed off because they want to be earning money off their videos, so they're calling Nintendo "thieves" for doing this.
I can see both sides to the story. I can see Nintendo as a corporation wanting to exercise control over their properties. On the other hand, "let's play" videos can often help new gamers find games they otherwise wouldn't have tried.
But here's the thing: Nintendo isn't the first company do this. Both Microsoft and Ubisoft do it already. YouTube has also had a long history of having music videos and

I'm back in my school since the last tuesday (i learn animation in a school named Gobelins in Paris).
This 3d year i'll spend all my time to work on 2 short films : the first one is a personnal movie i'll make all alone , and the other one is an Annecy animation festival openning film i'll make with 4 other students (every years it's the pupills of my school who make them , there's 6 different every years ).
So i'll not have a lot of time to make other things , so i'll try to post the researches and the characters here ^__^ .

they showed us one of the annecy promos (this years i think, maybe last years) at school the other day, with rabbits and a dude in a carrot suit.

A collaborative film should be fun to work on with friends (maybe a little stressful too). Paris would be an awesome place to go to school. Maybe I can make the trip to Europe someday. I LOVE the character concepts you have in your gallery though I'm too lazy to comment on them. Perhaps you can post some of your animation on here, or maybe just some still frames of some action or acting. Anyway, have fun at school. Tell Laetitia Casta I said "hi."
